A scenic walk along the ancient “vie cave”, between the hill-top villages of Pitigliano and Sovana – two of the most acclaimed towns of southern Tuscany.
The windy path follows the Etruscan roads, excavated into the rock dozens of centuries ago by the Etruscan, the only urban civilization of the pre-Roman Age. We’ll walk several meters deep into the earth, and also into the woods, over small rivers, across ancient sacred areas and medieval urban roads. A day surrounded by History and Nature.
