A walk deep down the heart of Mother Nature: from the impressive Fortezza Orsini, a majestic medieval stronghold, to the maze of streets and alleys, and then in the middle of nature and back to the pre-Christian world.
The walk winds at the bottom of the “via cava” (excavated road) named after Saint Rocco – patron saint of pilgrims, wayfarers, dogs, and volunteers. Despite its dedication, the via cava dates back to the pagan world – and the magic vibrancy still seems to buzz in the air…
